The events of the game SoulCalibur 5, as before, revolve around two mysterious swords - the legendary Soul Calibur and the ominous Soul Edge. The plot of the game tells the story of Patroclus, the son of Sophia, known for previous games in the series, who fights with the "infected" - these are the heroes who are under the spell of Soul Edge and are looking for their sister. As before, battles take place using edged weapons, hand-to-hand combat and magic. The new part is distinguished by a more detailed study of combined attacks and their various variations. New characters were added to the game - now there are 28 of them. Also in SoulCalibur 5, the mode of creating a hero and online has been preserved.
