The protagonist of this part of the Assassin's Creed series, as before, is our old acquaintance - Desmond Miles, whose ancestors belonged to the “partnership” of assassin’s. The hero travels the past of his great-great-great-grandfathers with the help of a cunning device of the "animus" as a mestizo named Connor Kenway. Connor Kenway lives at a turning point in American history, where a civil war erupted. In addition to the war for independence, there is another war, not for life, but for death between the Assassins and their sworn enemies - the Templars. Our hero has to take a direct part in all this.
