[PS3] DmC: Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry is perhaps the most famous hack-n-slash game and its appearance is hard to miss even if you are not a fan of the genre. The important thing is: did the series about the mocking evil spirits descend to copying the previous parts or did they become a victim of the experiments from Ninja Theory. By launching the game and playing a little, it becomes clear - all that the genre requires is in place. In the arsenal, Dante, as expected, has both edged weapons for cutting enemies, where without a famous full-length sword, and a firearm. The system of pumping and scoring points and bonuses is also in place. Moreover, the longer a player continuously shreds monsters, the more points and bonuses he receives, therefore, it will be pumped faster - a classic. Also Devil May Cry has a not weak character development branch, which is a clear plus. All the usual controls are where they are supposed to be. With the basic elements of the game, everything is in perfect order, compared with the previous parts, the game was, if not a breakthrough, then a step forward at least. The parallel reality in which demons exist and in which the game takes place was a sandbox for designers - here they were able to realize their creative potential. Despite the darkness of the environment, still the other world, the flight of imagination of designers can be envied. And what a frighteningly cool nightclub looks like in the colors of demonic reality? and the river, and the skyscraper ..? The plot, as an obligatory part of the modern game, is also present in Devil May Cry, and it is served quite well. Right from the start of the game, we are met by a short scene with slo-mo elements, by the way, it is not very badly directed. Dialogues of characters, despite the abundance of non-literary expressions, are quite intelligible and not devoid of meaning, after all, the British are not Japanese. The characters have a character that develops during the game, everything is as it should be a mature game of a respected series.
